Here are some of the PRs, Podiums & Qualifications, First Time Achievements, Epic Stuff from TriForcers:
2022
- Nicki H-k– 11:40 at IMAZ– 40 minute PR and KONA QUALIFICATION!!!!!! Woohoooo!
- Mohammad Kotb completed Ultraman Florida! That’s a mind blowing achievement. Wow! WALL OF FAME! And kudos to Oleg Aravin for crewing for him.
- Tri Loop (Chai) ABSOLUTELY F’N SMASHED the Kaiser 10k. He put in one of the fastest runs in TriForce history when you look at equivalent times across distances. (he averaged 5:40 / mile- which is about equivalent to my half marathon best of 1:17 back in the day). Chai has been on the team for 10+ years and I love seeing him still smash a massive PR. WALL OF FAME!
- Bryan Powell 4th / 55 in his AG at the Salmon Falls 50k in his first ultra in years. Nice work Bryan!
- Sven Mawson got 2nd (podium and wall of fame!) in his AG at the Stanford Treeathlon.
- Jason Rosenthal did the 4x4x48 (4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours/ 48 miles over 2 days) (wall of fame for an epic weekend for Jason- he has come a LONG way with his running).
- Geoff Lew did the Way to Cool 50k Ultra. I think that’s Geoff’s first 50k, so, wall of fame!)
- Geoff Lew and Tri Loop (Chai) qualified for the Boston Marathon at the (hilly) SF marathon! Great work, fellas!
- Nicki H-k big 50 minute PR at IM Lake Placid, including a PR in all 3 sports!
- Eric Endean got 2nd in his AG at the NYC Tri. Great work!
- Mohammad Kotb (update) did a double marathon today (8h27m got 4th place in male and 6th overall, first marathon 4h5m and second 4h22m). A 3 hr PR! Great work!
- Mohammad Kotb IM70.3 Victoria- PR! 5h50
- Nicki H-k PR! half marathon which is HUGE considering that she has been running competitively for a long time.
- Lincoln Atkinson for a PR (1:36:40) and a PODIUM (3/33) at the Capital City Marathon in Washington this past weekend
- Huy Nguyen 14th at Ironman World Champs! Killer!
- Yohann Coppel —Yohann Coppel completed his 3rd Ironman in 6 weeks at IM Switzerland. 10:05 on a HARD course. Nice work Yohann!
- Dena Becker completed the SeaOtter Fuego XC 80K MTB race
- Mark Heavey- completed his first HIM at honu– so WOF!
- Dena Becker & Emmanuel Oh completed their first ever ultramarathons at the tough Broken Arrow 50k. Nice work!
- Daniel RodrÃguez 5 flat (big PR) and 70.3 WC qualification at Musselman. Daniel is one of the hardest working and most consistent athletes on the team and he has made HUGE leaps over the last couple years. Nice work Daniel!
- Phuong Vuong also qualified for 70.3 WC at Oregon 70.3! PV cant be stopped!
- Congrats to Lincoln Atkinson for a PR (1:36:40) and a PODIUM (3/33) at the Capital City Marathon in Washington this past weekend!
- Ian Landin completed his first Ironman! (14 hrs) @ IMTX!
- Anantica Singh had her best every duathlon at Santa Cruz. Wall of fame!
- Phuong Vuong WON her AG at the Santa Cruz Olympic.
- Tri Loop (Chai) won his AG at the Santa Cruz Olympic. (5th overall) at the Santa Cruz olympic! He crushed the swim, bike and especially the run (with a 5:xx average pace)!
2021
- Daniel RodrÃguez Daniel averaged 6:58 for his 10 mile running race last weekend– a huge breakthrough. It’s his fastest speed of the year at all distances 400 meters – 10 miles. And his all time best at 5k, 10k 5 miles, 10 miles.
- Dena Becker!! 3rd in her AG at the (tough!) Mount Lemmon Gravel Grinder 50 Miler!
- Huy Nguyen (another) solo Ironman– with crazy fast 5:35 bike (on open roads) + 4:09 marathon around his neighborhood
- Eric Endean 2nd in his AG at North Caroline 70.3!
- Eric Endean WON HIS AGE GROUP at Muncie 70.3 in a time of 5:22 which I think is actually a PR!!! **qualifying for 70.3 WC. **And he was 108th overall which is pretty amazing for being in the 65-69 AG! Great work Rick!
- Tom Glynn 2nd in his AG at IMTX. QUALIFYING FOR KONA!!!
- Sven Mawson 5th in his AG at Santa Cruz with great race execution!
- Dena Becker 10th in her AG at the Broken Arrow 26k, smashing her time from last year.
- Eric Endean won his AG at the NYC tri
- Alyssa Bussey Roy 2nd in her AG at the Sonoma Women’s Tri.
- Todd Scheidt qualified for Kona @ IM Tulsa.

- Yohann Coppel – 5th place (podium!) and 70.3 WC qualification at Nice 70.3.. just 1 week after doing a full IM!! (wall of fame!)
- Eric Endean FIRST PLACE in his AG at the Tri For Sight! (wall of fame!)
- Daniel RodrÃguez 5:34 at Atlantic City 70.3! First HIM– so PR!!!! (WOF!)
